The co-founders of Cosmo Consulting and Management are İbrahim Sağlam and Dumrul Alçıcı. Their paths crossed many times including in Robert College, Iron Mountain Records Management Inc. and finally in Cosmo Consulting and Management. In between they worked in several industries gaining experience in:
Automotive, Capital Markets, Tourism, Export, Car Leasing, Brand Management, Dealership, Insurance Agency, Information Management, Exclusive Distributorship, Operation Management, Real Estate Development, Construction, Project and B2B Selling.

After working for multi-national and our private companies we always felt the need for strong solution partners and consultants throughout the start-up and development process of the company. This is how we came up with the idea of Cosmo, to provide strong consulting and management services.

Corporate Experience
- Iron Mountain Records Management – A joint venture company between Iron Mountain Inc and local partner. During our management through acquisition, organic growth and integration the company transformed to become the largest records management company in Turkey, Eastern and Central Europe and Middle East.
- Doğuş Automotive – Reconstructed the used car division for the largest automotive company with multiple car brands in Turkey.
- Opel, Seat, Toyota – Ownership of largest dealer in Istanbul in the most populated and developing areas.
- Goodyear & Dunlop – Ownership of dealer in Istanbul.
- Inter Yatırım Investments – Advisory for Domestic Capital Market customers.
- Step Carpet – Entry into new markets for the local luxury rug brand
Entrepreneural Experience
- Sock Shop – Country Distributor.
- Perko Door Closers – Country Distributor.
- Cosmo Real Estate Development – Real-estate purchasing, refurbishing, fit out, renting and selling. Over $10M worth of real-estate investment and development accomplished.
- Bowling Alley – Feasibility for building bowling centers and bowling machines & equipment sales business in Turkey.
- Sağlam Insurance Agency – Agent of multiple insurance companies
- Sağlam Capital Investments – Obtained permit and license from Capital Markets Board of Turkey as a Stock Broker firm to trade in Istanbul Stock Exchange.
- Hotel Doru – Renovation and management of a Business Hotel, Bar, Shops and Rooftop Restaurant, in one of the most Touristic areas of Istanbul.
- BD Consulting – Exporting of locally built Commercial Vehicles to CIS and Middle-East countries.
